On this Mother’s Day, who better to celebrate than one of North Dakota's most memorable mothers, Elizabeth Bodine, 1968's "American Mother of the Year" and the recipient of the state's highest honor, The Theodore Roosevelt Roughrider Award.
Officer Jake Wallin will be honored at a number of ceremonies.
Construction will take place over three phases.
“We feel it’s a very important piece for members of our department to go out there and honor Jake (Wallin) in this way and support his family," Chief Dave Zibolski said in January.
