Big second inning propels Cleburne over RedHawks

FARGO - Cleburne plated six runs in the second inning and the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks couldn't recover.

The Railroaders beat the Hawks, 8-5 for the second straight night. Starting pitcher Will Solomon didn't make it out of the second inning for the RedHawks.

Solomom pitched one and a third of an inning, surrendering seven runs on eight hits. 

Hawks outfielder Tim Colwell stretched his hitting streak to 15 games. Fargo-Moorhead and Cleburne close out a three game series Sunday at 12:30.
