NDSU basketball offers Jamestown's Boden Skunberg

FARGO, ND - The Bison men's basketball team opens practice for the new season Tuesday, but its coaching staff is already looking ahead to 2020.

Jamestown head coach Jacoby Lloyd tells WDAY that NDSU offered Blue Jay junior Boden Skunberg a scholarship.

Skunberg is a 6'4 forward, who averaged 14 points a game for the Blue Jays in his sophomore year as Jamestown finished with a 12-14 record reaching the state tournament. 

This is the second scholarship offer for Skunberg, who also has an offer from the University of North Dakota.

NDSU has offered 2019 Moorhead senior Maleeck Harden, this is the first offer for the Class of 2020.

Domenic is the Sports Director at WDAY. He comes to Fargo from WNCE-TV in Glens Falls, NY where he launched the sports department at the independent station. Before that, Domenic worked at WSTM, the NBC affiliate in Syracuse, NY as a photographer and live truck operator for over two years. He graduated from Oswego State University in 2002 with a degree in Broadcasting. Domenic hails from the lake effect snow capital of the world, Oswego, NY, he joined the WDAY Sports Department in September 2006.
