FARGO - NDSU freshman James Kaczor may look like your typical 18 year old football player, but when you dig a little deeper, you find out that he's experienced more in 18 years than some have in a lifetime.

Kaczor is playing as a true freshman with the Bison.

He was a highly sought after recruit out of St. Cloud Tech High School, turning down offers from Columbia and South Dakota State.

Kaczor is from a huge family, he is the eighth of ten kids. Three of his older brothers and his dad played football at St. Cloud State, he had two other brothers play football at Yale and Harvard.

Kaczor was a three sport standout for the Tigers, playing football, basketball and was all-state in track.

He'll be on special teams this Saturday as the Bison host North Alabama at 2:30.
