Oxbow native Olson moving on from runner-up finish

WDAY TV - Oxbow native and NDSU great Amy Olson was back on a golf course Wednesday in Sioux Falls, smiling and taking photos.

You would have never known that Olson went thru the most difficult day on a golf course just three days ago.

Olson double bogeyed the 72nd hole of the Evian Championship, costing her first professional win and major.

Its been difficult for dealt with the emotions of the last few days, but she is putting a tough loss past her.

"It is easy to get down on yourself and as athletes it is so easy to do that and you have to be at times and there is a place for that," Olson told WDAY Sports when reflecting on her past weekend.

"You also have to take the time to take the positives and see how far you have come and I have been able to reflect on both of those things in the last 48 hours and I am doing well."
