WARROAD, Minn. -- T.J. Oshie has arrived in Warroad with the Stanley Cup.
The former Warroad High School and UND star will spend the day with the famed trophy. It will first be in Warroad. Then, it will go to the Twin Cities for a private party.
Each regular on the Stanley Cup-winning team gets one designated day to do virtually whatever. Oshie is the first player to bring it to Warroad. The Stanley Cup was nearby in Roseau, Minn., in 2010. Dustin Byfuglien brought it there after he won the Stanley Cup with the Chicago Blackhawks.
