From Davies to the desert: Eagles' Cade Stibbe commits to Arizona State

FARGO - Cade Stibbe burst on the North Dakota high school hockey scene as a freshman at Fargo Davies and has been a force for the Eagles the last two years.

His hard work has paid off, he tells WDAY that he has verbally committed to play hockey at Arizona State.

Stibbe was an all-state player this past winter for the Eagles, racking up 18 goals and 40 points. 

Stibbe says he'll play for Davies this upcoming year and then see what happens from there.

Arizona State will enter its fourth year of D-1 hockey this season.

Domenic is the Sports Director at WDAY. He comes to Fargo from WNCE-TV in Glens Falls, NY where he launched the sports department at the independent station. Before that, Domenic worked at WSTM, the NBC affiliate in Syracuse, NY as a photographer and live truck operator for over two years. He graduated from Oswego State University in 2002 with a degree in Broadcasting. Domenic hails from the lake effect snow capital of the world, Oswego, NY, he joined the WDAY Sports Department in September 2006.
